Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Overall, Luke 6 refers to righteousness, the Court of Tabernacle.
In the beginning, God creates perfect man as glorious as Him, according to His image. God puts him in Eden.
But human falls into sin, so he loses God's glory, holiness, and righteousness.
Consequently, they are cast out from Paradise to the world, to live in suffering and tear.
It if continues, they will perish forever.
That is why, God wants to bring up the sinners, so they return to His images, namely righteousness, holiness and glory.
They return to Paradise, A Thousand years Kingdom of Peace and enter New Jerusalem forever.

There are seven kinds of God’s upbringing as follows:

  1. Luke 6:1-5is about the body is brought up by God to enter in spiritual activity.
  2. Luke 6:12-16 is about the soul is brought up by God that we have spiritual positionin the Kingdom of Heaven.
  3. Luke 6:17-19 is about the spirit is brought up by God that our spiritual is not sickbut healthy until perfect.
  4. Luke 6:6-11is about the deed is brought up by God.
  5. Luke 6:20-26 is about the mind is brought up by God.
  6. Luke 6:27-45is about the heart is brought up by God.
  7. Luke 6:46-49is about life journey is brought up by God.

Ad. 6 [Luke 6:27-45].
the heart is brought up by God
God brings up our heart that we imitateHis gentle heart.
The practices are as follows:

  1. loving others up to enemy. It is the practice of the loving heart of God the Father.
  2. do not judge others.
    Luke 6: 37
6:37. "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

It is the practice of the loving or merciful heart of the Son of God.

Why must we not judge other?

  1. it is not the time.
    1 Corinthians 6:2-3

6:2. Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if
the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
6:3. Do you not know that
we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life?

When Jesus comes a second time, we will be with Him to judge the world and the angels.

  2. if we judge others, we will be judged or punished.
    Luke 6:37
6:37. "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

  3. if we judge others, we cannot judge ourselves.
If we cannot judge ourselves, we cannot live for holiness and righteousness, but live in sin and perish.

1 Peter 4:17

4:17. For the time has come for judgmentto begin at the house of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?

We have to judge ourselves now, so we do not enter the throne of judgment of God and we will not be punished forever.
By what can we judge ourselves?

  1. through the Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword.
    Hebrews4:12-13
4:12. For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two–edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13. And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

The Word that is sharper than any two-edged sword is true teaching Word that shows our sin up to the hidden one, especially in our heart and mind that are the storehouse of sin.

    Mark 7:21-23
7:21. "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries(1), fornications(2), murders(3),
    7:22. thefts (4), covetousness (5), wickedness (6), deceit (7), lewdness(8), an evil eye(9), blasphemy (10), pride (11), foolishness (12).
7:23. "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."

The wicked and unclean heart and mind contain twelve evil and unclean desires, so the whole life is evil and unclean.
These sins will be judged on the White Throne and we will be punished and cast out to the hell forever.

If we receive the work of the word that is sharper than any two-edged sword to purify our heart and mind from evil and unclean thing, our table of heart and mind will be filled by twelve loaves.
It is divided in two rows, namely sixty six which refers to sixty six books in the bible. It is the true teaching Word.
So, we can love God solemnly more than others.

  2. through Holy Communion.
    1 Corinthians 11:28-29, 31
11:28. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.
11:29. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body.
    11:31. For
if we would judge ourselves, we would not be judged.

Through Holy Communion, we examine ourselves about sinful deeds and words that are ingrained in our life.

    1 Corinthians 5:7-8, 11

5:7. Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.
5:8. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
5:11. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral
    (1), or covetous(2), or an idolater(3), or a reviler(4), or a drunkard(5), or an extortioner(6)––not even to eat with such a person.

Through Christ's sacrifice, we examine ourselves that we are released from six sinful deeds and words that are ingrained, so we can live for righteousness and sincerity.

  3. through test.
    Psalms26:2-3
26:2. Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; Try my mind and my heart.
26:3. For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.

Test is sorrow without sin but with Jesus.

The sorrow without sin but with God is for judging our heart. In Indonesian old translation bible it is said as kidney.
It means that we experience purification from false teaching as follows:

    • doctrine of Jezebel.
      Revelation2:20,23
2:20. "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servantsto commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols.
2:23. "I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works.

It is the doctrine that allows woman to teach and have authority over a man.
Woman becomes the head of man (in the household or ministry), so Jesus cannot be the Head but snake or wolf and bird (wickedness and uncleanness).
If the snake becomes the head, everyone will sin.

      1 Timothy 2:11-14
2:11. Let a woman learn in silencewith all submission.
2:12. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence.
2:13. For Adam was formed first, then Eve.
2:14. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression.

That a woman has authority over and teaches the man is similar to the event at Garden Eden where Eve eats forbidden fruit and gives it to Adam.
Consequently, the church becomes naked and cursed.
The woman may serve anything exceptteaching and having authority over a man.

    • the doctrine of Babylon, namely false teaching that teaches about prosperity and entertainment of the world without holiness(without the Word) and faithfulness.

      Revelation 17:4-5
17:4. The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.
17:5. And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY,
BABYLONTHE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

If we judge ourselves, starting from our heart, mind, deed and word, our heart will look unto Jesus.

Psalms 26:3
26:3. For Your lovingkindness is before my eyes, And I have walked in Your truth.

Psalms 16:8
16:8. Ihave set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved.

If we look at God, we shall not be moved but strong and of good courage.
It means that we hold the true teaching.
We are not disappointed and desperate in facing all things, but keep believing and hoping in God, and our eyes look unto Him.
The examples are as follows:

  1. King David.
    1 Samuel 17:32

    17:32. Then David said to Saul, "Let no man’s heart fail because of him;
your servant will go and fight with this Philistine."

If we are strong and of good courage, we find God's merciful hand that fights for David against Goliath. It means fighting the impossible problems.

    2 Samuel 12:13
12:13. So David said to Nathan, "I have sinned against the LORD." And Nathan said to David, "The LORD also has put away your sin; you shall not die.

When David falls into sin of uncleanness with Bathsheba, he is still able to receive the Word which reproves him.
So, God's merciful hand is able to lift up and recover David's life.

  2. King Jehoshaphat.
    2 Chronicles 20:1-3, 12
20:1. It happened after this that the people of Moab with the people of Ammon, and others with them besides the Ammonites, came to battle against Jehoshaphat.
20:2. Then some came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, "A great multitude is coming against you from beyond the sea, from Syria; and they are in Hazazon Tamar" (which is En Gedi).
20:3. And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and
    proclaimed a fastthroughout all Judah.
20:12. "O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but
    our eyes are upon You."

King Jehoshaphat does not know what to do against the enemy and he proclaims a fast.
Fasting hastens the process to look upon God.
God's merciful hand will fight to make great multitude become dead bodies. It means big problem has no meaning and all problems are finished by God.

John 11:32
11:32. Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."

Although our life has already decayed like dead body and had no meaning, we will experience that God is able to raise Lazarus who has already dead if we willingly see Him.
The decayed things will become good and we have beautiful, good and successful future for the glory of God's name.
We who live in sin will be changed to become true and holy and obtain favor from God and others.

If Jesus comes a second time, we will be changed to become as glorious as Him. We look upon Him face to face to be with Him forever.

God blesses us.
