Luke 9:28-36 is about Jesus Transfigured on the Mount.
The true worship must be driven by the true teaching word. It means we worship Jesus in His glory as the King of kings and the Heavenly Bridegroom.
Be watchful! The false worship is the one to antichrist and without the true teaching word.
The results of the true worship are as follows:
ad. 4. We can confess that Jesus is the Son of God.
There are two times of confession that Jesus is the Son of God, namely in the water baptism (on the face of the sea) and worship (on the mount).
Matthew 3:13-15
3:13. Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him.
3:14. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, "I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?"
3:15. But Jesus answered and said to him, "Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness." Then he allowed Him.
The confession in water baptism is the one that Jesus is the Son of God who obeys to save the sinners.
Actually, Jesus is not a sinner, so He does not need to be baptized.
But, Jesus enters the water baptism to do the things as follows:
Why do we have to be baptized?
There are three stages of water baptism as follows:

- The renewal of life[Luke 9:29].
- The protection[Luke 9:30-31].
- The heavenly bliss[Luke 9:32-34].
- We can confess that Jesus is the Son of God.
Luke 9:35
9:35. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!"

- Fulfilling God's order, namely being obedient to the point of death on the cross and He is raised to save the sinners.
- Giving the pattern of true water baptism to all of us (as Jesus was baptized, we are also baptized).
Why do we have to be baptized?
- Because the water baptism is the order of Jesus Himself that has the legal force on earth and in heaven, so nothing can charge against it.
Matthew 28:18-19
28:18. And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, "All authorityhas been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
28:19. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizingthem in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
If we obey God's order to enter the water baptism, we will be saved.
On the contrary, if we do not obey God's order to enter the water baptism, we will not be saved, but enter God's punishment. - Through water baptism, we can enter the eternal kingdom of heaven.
John 3:5
3:5. Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of waterand the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
There are three stages of water baptism as follows:
- The stage of preparation (before entering the water baptism).
1 Peter 2:1
2:1. Therefore, laying aside all malice(1), all deceit(2), hypocrisy(3), envy(4), and all evil speaking(5),
We listen to the repeated true teaching word, so we can realize, regret, and confess sin to God and others. If we are forgiven, do not sin anymore.
The repentance or being dead to sin starts from five main sinsas follows:- All malice.
The root of wickedness is the love of money that makes us stingy and greedy.
Being stingy= one cannot give for God's work and others in need.
Being greedy= one steals God's (the tithes and special offerings) and others'.
Colossians 3:5
3:5. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry.
The covetousness is the same as idolatry. - All deceit.
- Hypocrisy.
- Hatred and envy.
- Evil speaking.
- All malice.
- The stage of the implementation of water baptism.
Matthew 28:19
28:19. "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
We are baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, so the name of Jesus is sealed in our lifeand we become His possession.
Romans 6:4
6:4. Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
The implementation is one who has died to sin must be buried in the water with Jesus and come out or rise from the water with Him to receive new life or heavenly one.
When Jesus came up immediately from the water, the heavens were opened to Him. Likewise, when we come out from the water, the heavens will be opened and we receive the new life or heavenly one. - The stage after water baptism.
The resultsof true water baptism are as follows:- Becoming the spiritual babes who desire pure milk of the word, namely the true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
1 Peter 2:2
2:2. as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
We must be shepherded truly and well, so we experience spiritual growth to the truth and salvation.
1 John 3:9
3:9. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God.
Living in righteousness is the same as we do not sin. Until someday we cannot sin anymore. We are righteous, just as Jesus is righteous. - Becoming the living stones, namely the priests and kings.
1 Peter 2:4-5
2:4. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious,
2:5. you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
We minister to God according to the one that He gives to us.
1 Timothy 4:8
4:8. For bodily exercise profits a little, but godliness is profitable for all things, having promise of the life that now isand of that which is to come.
In ministering to God, He gives us the certainty of the life that now is and of that which is to come.
The ministry is the same as the tunic of many colors. God guarantees the beautiful and successful future.
Malachi 3:1-3
3:1. "Behold, I send My messenger, And he will prepare the way before Me. And the Lord, whom you seek, Will suddenly come to His temple, Even the Messenger of the covenant, In whom you delight. Behold, He is coming," Says the LORD of hosts.
3:2. "But who can endure the day of His coming? And who can stand when He appears? For He is like a refiner's fireAnd like launderer's soap.
3:3. He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as goldand silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.
We must experience purification by refiner's fire and launderer's soap after we become the living stones.
It is the same as purification by the repeated shepherding word until we become as gold and silverthat please God.
2 Timothy 2:20-22
2:20. But in a great house there are not only vessels of goldand silver, but also of wood and clay, some for honor and some for dishonor.
2:21. Therefore if anyone cleanseshimself from the latter, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
2:22. Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Until we become the precious stones, the one who is purified and changed.
1 Corinthians 3:12
3:12. Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw,
Revelation 21:11
21:11. having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
We are like a jasper stone in New Jerusalem. Clear as crystal means being honestor nothing is hidden.
The upright is the house of prayer, so his prayer is answered by God.
Proverbs 15:8
15:8. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.
If spiritual miracle happens, the physical one will happen too, namely the impossible thing becomes possible.
James 3:2
3:2. For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
Until when Jesus comes a second time, we are changed to become perfect, as glorious as God. We are with God forever.
- Becoming the spiritual babes who desire pure milk of the word, namely the true teaching word in the anointing of Holy Spirit.
God blesses us.
