Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Luke 10:10-12
10:10. "But whatever city you enter, and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
10:11. 'The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.'
10:12. "But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.

In the deputation, we encounter two things as follows:

  1. The wolves.
We are like lambs among wolves. It is the terrible and impossible atmosphere, but we can overcome it if we are shepherded truly and well.

  2. Man of clay.
It means a flesh and blood man who hardens his heart. He rejects the beautiful steps of the messenger of the LORD who testifies about two things as follows:

    • Good news or gospel word. It preaches the first coming of Jesus to the world to save the sinners.
    • Bride tidings or the true teaching word. It preaches the second coming of Jesus to the world to purify saved people up to being perfect.

Do not hear the strange voices! We must hear only the voice of shepherd, so we have the beautiful steps.

ad. 2. Man of clay.
The facts found in the man of clay are as follows:

  1. Rejecting the power of godliness, namely the teaching word that is sharper than any two-edged sword, although he ministers to God.
    2 Timothy 3:1-5

3:1. But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:
    3:2. For men will be lovers of themselves(1), lovers of money(2), boasters(3), proud(4), blasphemers(5), disobedient to parents(6), unthankful(7), unholy(8),
    3:3. unloving(9), unforgiving(10), slanderers(11), without self-control(12), brutal(13, despisers of good(14),
    3:4. traitors(15), headstrong(16), haughty(17), lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God(18),
3:5. having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

Consequently he does not experience purification and renewal of life, but retains the flesh man with eighteen characteristics of flesh.
Lover of himself= loving himself only.
Being unthankful= one does not love others.
Lover of pleasure rather than lover of God= one does not love God.

It is the same as he is without love and he becomes disobedient, so he is marked by antichrist and becomes the same as antichrist.

  2. Doing the works of the flesh, which are the same as sins up to the peak.
    Galatians 5:19-21
5:19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20. idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21. envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

If we are not shepherded well and truly, we will enter the swine field.
If we enjoy to sin, we are heading to Babylon.

  3. Becoming the same as worldly men who make friendship with the world and love it until become the same as the world.
    James 4:4
4:4. Adulterers and adulteresses! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

The sign is being proud of something in the world more than God, or one is easily disappointed and desperate, so he cannot give thanks to God.

Luke 10:11-12
10:11. 'The very dust of your city which clings to us we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that the kingdom of God has come near you.'
10:12. "But I say to you that it will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom than for that city.

The consequences of becoming the dust men are as follows
:

  1. The dust is wiped off from beautiful feet.
It means his life is not beautiful, but labors, becomes heavy laden, and totally fails and he has no relation with the kingdom of heaven.

  2. It will be more tolerable in that Day for Sodom that for that city. All things are destroyed with the world up to the hell forever.

The way out so we do not enter the punishment is: our life (the vessel) must be filled with heavenly treasure, namely the teaching word through reading and hearing the word.
2 Corinthians 4:7-11
4:7. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us.
4:8. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
4:9. persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--
4:10. always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.
4:11. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

The process is as follows:

  1. Holy Spirit helps us to hear the word earnestly and in need, so we understand it.
  2. Holy Spirit helps us to believe the word, so it becomes faith in our heart.
  3. Holy Spirit helps us to practice the word.

The results are as follows:

  1. The mighty hand is able to give extra power from the heaven, so we can endure.
    2 Corinthians 4:8-9
    4:8. We are hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
4:9. persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed--

It means we are not proud, disappointed and desperate, but always give thanks and minister to God faithfully and fervently.

  2. The mighty hand is able to change us from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
    2 Corinthians 4:10
4:10. always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

The life of Jesus is manifested. It means Jesus' characteristics come into our life. We experience the renewal of life.

    Proverbs 15:8
15:8. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD, But the prayer of the upright is His delight.

The honest man will become the house of prayer.

    Proverbs 28:9
28:9. One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.

If we do not want to hear the word and obey it, our ministry will become an abomination for God.

An honest and obedient life is always under God's feet like Mary. So, God's mighty hand is able to perform physical miracle.
    Luke 10:39
10:39. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet and heard His word.

    John 11:32-33
11:32. Then, when Mary came where Jesus was, and saw Him, she fell down at His feet, saying to Him, "Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died."
11:33. Therefore, when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her weeping, He groaned in the spirit and was troubled.

The mighty hand raises Lazarus who has died for four days. God changes the stench and the impossible becomes possible.
God changes our life up to being perfect like Him.

God blesses us.
