Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 10:9-11
10:9 So I went to the angel and said to him, "Give me the little book." And he said to me, "Take and eat it; and it will make your stomach bitter, but it will be as sweet as honey in your mouth."
10:10 Then I took the little book out of the angel's hand and ate it, and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth. But when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.

10:11 And he said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."

The angel refers to the pastor. The little book which is open refers to the revelation of the word of God.

So, the little book which is open in the hand of the angel refers to the shepherding word or the true teaching one which is entrusted by God to a pastor to be preached to the congregation faithfully, regularly, continually, and repetitively as food for them with two tastes, namely the sweet one in mouth and the bitter one in stomach.
It means that the shepherding word that is obeyed or eaten is able to purify us physically (mouth) and spiritually (stomach).

Colossians 3:5-7
3:5. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication(1), uncleanness(2), passion(3), evil desire(4), and covetousness(5), which is idolatry(6).
3:6. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience,
3:7. in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

This is the physical purification from the six sinful deeds.

Colossians 3:8-9
3:8. But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger(1), wrath(2), malice(3), blasphemy(4), filthy language out of your mouth(5).
3:9. Do not lie to one another
(6), since you have put off the old man with his deeds,

This is the purification from the six sins in our inward man.

If our physical and spiritual life is controlled by the twelve sins, we will not have relationship with God. We are separated from Him, so we experience spiritual dryness. We cannot worship God until being separated from Him forever.

1 John 3:6
3:6. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

If we are purified from the twelve sins, we will not sin anymore, but we abide in God. We are not separated from Him up to eternal life.

That is why we must ask for the little book which is open. It means that we pray to God, so He as the Great Shepherd always gives us the revelation of the shepherding word.

Further, we eat the little book, namely hearing and obeying the shepherding word until we taste the bitter and sweet taste. We experience the sanctification of our physical and spiritual life by the word, so we do not lie anymore. We abide in God and He abides in us. We are not separated from Him.

Revelation 10:11
10:11. And he said to me, "You must prophesy again about many peoples, nations, tongues, and kings."

We can testify and worship God; even we worship Him delightfully.

The proofs that we abide in God and He abides in us are as follows:

  1. Not sinning until we do not lie.
    1 John 3:6
3:6. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

  2. Obeying the word of God whatever risk may come until our flesh does not sound anymore.
    1 John 2:5
2:5. But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

    John 10:27-28
10:27. "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
10:28. "And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.

Obeying the word is the same as becoming the sheep that is shepherded well and correctly. We just hear and obey the shepherding word, so we are in the hands of the Great Shepherd.
As a result, we experience the guarantee of certainty for our life now and beautiful and successful future up to eternal life.

  3. Loving God more than anything or living in His love.
    John 14:15
14:15. "If you love Me, keep My commandments.

It is important for facing the last days.

    Matthew 24:12
24:12. "And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

The love of God is needed to fight against the winter of spiritual life or the lawlessness in the last days that aims at the peak, namely the antichrist.

    2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
2:3. Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition,
2:4. who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The winter of spiritual life happens in the last days or when it is only needed one more step to greet Jesus' coming on the glorious clouds.

    2 Corinthians 11:2-3
11:2. For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy. For I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
11:3. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The facts of the lawlessness in the last days are as follows:

    • The lawlessness that is caused by a viper which fastens the hand of Paul the apostle or the servant of God.
      Acts 28:2-3
28:2. And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold.
28:3. But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand.

      It means as follows:

      • Making the servant or son of God who is used by Him unable to return His possession, namely the tithe and special offering. It is the same as robbing God.
        Malachi 3:8-9
3:8. "Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, 'In what way have we robbed You?' In tithes and offerings.
3:9. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation.

If one dares to rob God, he surely dares to rob others.
Consequently, he lives in the curse atmosphere.

      • Making one unable to do good deed to God and others, even returning evil for good.
      • Making one unable to minister to God. It starts from being unfaithful as well as leaving the ministry until he cannot serve to God.
        Galatians 6:11
6:11. See with what large letters I have written to you with my own hand!

        1 Corinthians 16:21
16:21. The salutation with my own hand--Paul's.

      • Making one unable to hold fast and obey the true teaching Word. He is deceived by false teachings and gossips.

      • Making one unable to worship God or able to worship God but he has not reached the measure yet. It means that his flesh still sounds until he worships the antichrist.

    • The lawlessness that is caused by a viper's bite on ears through false teaching, gossips, and the voice of the flesh.
Consequently, one does not hold fast the true teaching word.

      Genesis 2:16
      2:16. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat;

      Genesis 3:1
3:1. Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"

It causes the lawlessness in marriage, hatred, quarrel, and unfaithfulness.

      Matthew 10:21
10:21. "Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.

      2 Thessalonians 2:4
2:4. who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

The destruction in marriage is also caused by not placing ourselves in the correct position.
Eve is a wife, but she teaches and has authority over Adam, namely she gives the forbidden fruit to him.
Adam's mistake is that he does not place himself as the head, but becomes the body that is willingly ordered.

    • Peter denies Jesus. It means that his mouth is bitten by a viper.
      Luke 22:54-66
22:54. Having arrested Him, they led Him and brought Him into the high priest's house. But Peter followed at a distance.
22:55. Now when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat among them.
22:56. And a certain servant girl, seeing him as he sat by the fire, looked intently at him and said, "This man was also with Him."
22:57. But he denied Him, saying, "Woman, I do not know Him."
22:58. And after a little while another saw him and said, "You also are of them." But Peter said, "Man, I am not!"
22:59. Then after about an hour had passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, "Surely this fellow also was with Him, for he is a Galilean."
22:60. But Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are saying!" Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.
22:61. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, "Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times."
22:62. So Peter went out and wept bitterly.
22:63. Now the men who held Jesus mocked Him and beat Him.
22:64. And having blindfolded Him, they struck Him on the face and asked Him, saying, "Prophesy! Who is the one who struck You?"
22:65. And many other things they blasphemously spoke against Him.
22:66. As soon as it was day, the elders of the people, both chief priests and scribes, came together and led Him into their council, saying,

      It means as follows:

      • One does not confess the true teaching word, but supports the false one.
      • One does not believe in Jesus anymore. It is the same as falling from faith.
      • One does not want to confess his sin.

      Titus1:15-16
1:15. To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
1:16. They profess to know God, but
in worksthey deny Him,being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work.

Denying Jesus also happens in bad works until returning evil for good.

Peter denies Jesus three times. It means that his body, soul, and spirit deny God.
Actually, there is no more chance for Peter.

      Matthew 10:32-33
10:32. "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
10:33. "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.

But, God does not will that His servants get into perdition forever.
That is why He wants to give His love in two ways as follows:

      • The crow of rooster, namely the repeated shepherding word.
        Luke 22:60-62

We feel the sight of the mercy of God as the Great Shepherd in the shepherding word, so we can realize, regret, and confess sins. As a result, we are forgiven.

When we leave our sins, we will feel God's love again.
        Proverbs 28:13
28:13. He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.

In the shepherding word, we also hear Jesus' asking Peter three times.
        John 21:15-17
21:15. So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Feed My lambs."
21:16. He said to him again a second time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" He said to Him, "Yes, Lord; You know that I love You." He said to him, "Tend My sheep."
21:17. He said to him the third time, "Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, "Do you love Me?" And he said to Him, "Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You." Jesus said to him, "Feed My sheep.

The three times of Jesus' asking refer to the shepherding word through perseverance in committing the three kinds of main service to God, namely the general, bible study, and prayer service.

In the shepherding, we experience the purification continuously until we can be grieved. It means that we realize that we do not love God and others.
If we confess, God will pour out His love.

        John 21:18-19
21:18. "Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish."
21:19. This He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."

Peter can stretch out his hands to God after receiving His love in the sheepfold.
He can worship God until his flesh does not sound anymore.

Worshipping God is the same as looking at Him. We just talk and lift up our hands to God, so He also stretches out His hands to us.

        The results are as follows:

        1. Peter experiences the power of lifting up from drowning. Failure becomes success and the impossible thing becomes possible.

        2. The hands of God take care of our life miraculously.
        3. God leads us to the last sheepfold, namely the New Jerusalem. We become as perfect as Jesus.
It starts from being honest or saying yes if yes, no if no.

      • The Holy Communion. We surrender all of failure, destruction, and decay to God through the Holy Communion.
God will stretch out His hands to us.

God blesses us.
