Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

According to Tabernacle Teaching, Revelation 2-3 refers to the seven sprinklings of blood before the Ark of the Covenant.
It means the last sanctificationdone by Jesus for the seven churches of the Gentiles or the congregation in the last days to make them perfect or without blemish like Jesus.

We learn about the third, namely the church in Pergamos.

Revelation 2:17
2:17 "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it."‘

The last sanctification for the church in Pergamos is from the false doctrines, namely the one of Balaam and Nicolaitans. The promises of God to the church in Pergamos that overcomes and gets the sanctification are as follows.

  1. The hidden manna.
  2. The white stone on which a new name is written.

We learn the second one.
Isaiah 4:1
4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, "We will eat our own food and wear our own apparel; Only let us be called by your name, To take away our reproach."

The new name is the Lord’s name that is attached to our name. The seven women refer to the seven churches in the last days. The churches of the Gentiles must desire to get the new name although they must sacrifice all things, except the true teaching Word or Jesus Himself.

Why do we have to have the new name?
Revelation 3:12
3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

We have to have the new name because only those who have the new name may enter New Jerusalem. Therefore, God always gives the new name to His people from age to age. The process is as follows.

  1. The beginning age or the one of Father God counted from Adam to Abraham.
    Genesis 17:4-5, 9-11
17:4 "As for Me, behold, My covenant is with you, and you shall be a father of many nations.
    17:5 "
No longer shall your name be called Abram, but your name shall be Abraham; for I have made you a father of many nations.
17:9 And God said to Abraham: "As for you, you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you throughout their generations.
    17:10 "This is My covenant which you shall keep, between Me and you and your descendants after you: Every male child among you shall be circumcised;
    17:11 "and
you shall be circumcised in the flesh of your foreskins, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between Me and you.

Abram must be circumcised in the flesh of the foreskins to get the name of God that is attached to his name to become a new name, namely Abraham. The name of God in Old Testament is Yahwe or Jehovah. The letter “A” and “H” of God’s name is put in the name of Abram, so he gets the new name, namely Abraham.
As for us, we must have the spiritual circumcision to get the new name.

    Colossians 2:11-12
2:11 In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
2:12 buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

The circumcision of Christ to our heart refers to the water baptism. The requirement to have it is repentance or being dead to sin.

    Romans 6:2, 4

6:2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
6:4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

The execution of the right water baptism is the person who has died to sin or repented is buried in water and raise or come up of water with Jesus.

    Matthew 28:19

28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

We are baptized in the name of Father (the Lord), the Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit God (Christ) or the Lord Jesus Christ. As a result, we have the new life, namely heavenly one.

    1 Peter 3:20-21

3:20 who formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
3:21 There is also an antitype which now saves us––baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,

The new life is signified by the new heart, namely the good conscience or obedienceuntil the flesh does not speak anymore. It may distinguish between the right and the false, beginning from the right and false teachings, so that we can live in righteousness. It means that we live by faith.

    Galatians 3:7
3:7 Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

Afterwards, we, the Gentiles, can live as the descendants of Abraham who are worthy to receive the promise of God. We are lifted up from dog to God’s sheep.

    Proverbs 12:26

12:26 The righteous should choose his friends carefully, For the way of the wicked leads them astray.

The righteous must be shepherded well and correctly to ensure and grow the salvation to reach the perfection. The results are as follows.

    • The Lord surrounds us as with a shield with blessings and grace of God. We are set free from curse.
      Psalm 5:12
5:12For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surroundhim as with a shield.

    • We get the new name, that is the name of the Lord Jesus Christ sealed on our forehead.
      Revelation 9:4-5
9:4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads.
9:5 And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man.

We are protected from the judgment of God.
On the contrary, one who rejects the spiritual circumcision or the water baptism will get the condemnation of God, namely the sting of scorpion for five months. It is the same as the floods in the world for one hundred and fifty days in the days of Noah.

    • We can enter New Jerusalem or the city of truth.
      2 Peter 3:13
3:13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

  2. The middle age or the one of the Son of God, counted from Abraham to the first coming of Jesus.
    Genesis 32:24, 28
32:24 Then Jacob was left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day.
    32:28 And He said, "
Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed."

Jacob struggled for facing Esau and getting the new name. He struggled until the breaking of day. It means that we must struggle, pray, and worship God until Jesus comes a second time. We only hope in the love and mercy of God in facing the struggles as follows.

    • Fear and worry about something. They cause weariness, heavy burden, and curse.
We struggle to get the love and mercy of God that will make us peaceful and quiet without any fear and worry. As a result, all things become easy and light.

    • The antichrist. Esau refers to the antichrist.
We struggle for facing the antichrist that destroys the marriage and children through sins up to the peak, namely sins concerning eating-drinking such as smoking, getting drunk, and drugs abuse, as well as sins concerning marrying-being given in marriage or sexuality sin with all its kinds, and false teachings. We hope to God that our marriage and children can keep right, holy, and being one.

    • Facing the persecution done by the antichrist for three years and a half.
It is the same as facing difficulties and impossibilities. We struggle that we can be evacuated by the two wings of a great eagle to the wilderness, far away from the presence of the serpent. We are preserved and protected directly by God through the true teaching Word and Holy Communion.

    • We struggle to get new name.
The name Jacob means a liar. It is changed to be Israel, whose meaning is a winner. It means that we must experience the life renewalfrom carnal man to spiritual one like Jesus and we are worthy of entering New Jerusalem.

      Revelation 22:15
22:15 But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.

The things that must be renewed are as follows.

      1. Dogs or false prophets and teachings as well as the characteristics of the Gentiles. A dog licks the vomit, referring to the idle words, slander, and gossip.

      2. Sorcerers or black-magic, fortune teller, and so on.
      3. Sexually immoral, between a man and a woman who are not a legal spouse, between a man and another man or a woman and another woman, and between human and animal, and so on.

      4. Murderer or hatred without any cause.
      5. Idolater.
      6. Liar.

  3. The last age or the one of Holy Spirit God, counted from Jesus’ first coming to the second one.
The representative is Saul, who becomes Paul.

    Acts 9:1-5

9:1 Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest
9:2 and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.
9:3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly
a light shone around him from heaven.
9:4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?"
9:5 And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" Then the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads."

Saul had been a servant Of God who had worked fervently, but in sin, emotion, hatred, revenge, and self-truth, without the true teachings. Consequently, he had not served God, but persecuted the body of Christ.

    Acts 26:13

26:13 "at midday, O king, along the road I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and those who journeyed with me.

Nevertheless, Saul got the light from heaven, brighter than the sun, so he got the new name, namely Paul.

    2 Corinthians 4:3-4

4:3But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
4:4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

It refers to the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ that preaches Jesus’ second coming in the glory as the King of all kings and Heavenly Bridegroom to sanctify the saved people until they can be perfect as the Bride of God who is ready to welcome Jesus’ second coming. It is the same as Bride Tidings or the Word sharper than any two-edged sword that pierces our heart to its deepest part and changes the hard heart to be gentle.

    1 Timothy 1:15-16

1:15 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.
1:16 However, for this reason I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show all longsuffering, as a pattern to those who are going to believe on Him for everlasting life.

    The signs are as follows.

    • We confess that we are the most sinful man, so we do not judge others.
    • We become the example of faith by living in righteousness and holding fast the true teaching Word and the one of life renewal.
    • We can worship Jesus, the King of all kings and Heavenly Bridegroom. It means that we can see the face of Jesus that shines as the sun shining in its strength.
      1 Timothy 1:17
1:17 Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

    The results are as follows.

    • The Lord makes war for us to give us victory.
      Joshua 10:12-14
10:12 Then Joshua spoke to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: "Sun, stand still over Gibeon; And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon."
10:13 So the sun stood still, And the moon stopped, Till the people had revenge Upon their enemies. Is this not written in the Book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and did not hasten to go down for about a whole day.
10:14 And there has been no day like that, before it or after it, that the LORD heeded the voice of a man; for
      the LORD fought for Israel.

There is victory over the sins, so we can live in righteousness and holiness.
We can be victorious over the deceiving false teachings, so we can hold fast the true teaching Word.
We can also overcome the temptation and problem, even the impossible one. God is able to finish all things.

    • The Lord fulfills His promise so that we still become the priests and kings until the end.
      Jeremiah 33:20-21
33:20 "Thus says the LORD: ‘If you can break My covenant with the day and My covenant with the night, so that there will not be day and night in their season,
33:21 ‘then My covenant may also be broken with David My servant, so that he shall not have
a son to reign on his throne, and with the Levites, the priests, My ministers.

We can be faithful and fervent in spirit in doing the ministry until the end, namely we die or Jesus comes a second time. As a result, the Lord will make all things successful and beautiful in time of need.

    • The Lord changes our life from carnal men to spiritual ones like Jesus.
It begins from the ears, so they can listen to and obey the shepherding Word.
The eyes can see the field of God.

      Proverbs 20:12

20:12 The hearing ear and the seeing eye, The LORD has made them both.

If the ears and eyes are good, we will experience the creation power to create something that does not exist yet. The Lord will provide all things for us.

      Romans 8:32

8:32 He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?

The mouth is changed, so it can say good and right words.

      Mark 7:37

7:37 And they were astonished beyond measure, saying, "He has done all things well. He makes both the deaf to hear and the mute to speak."

If our ears and mouth are good, the Lord is able to make the destroyed things good.

      Matthew 13:42-43

13:42 "and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
13:43 "Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear!

We will be changed until we are perfect when Jesus comes a second time. We shine like the sun and enter New Jerusalem.

God blesses you.
