General Service in Malang, May 11, 2014 (Sunday Morning)
Peace
and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation
1:14
1:14
His
head and hair were
white like wool, as white as snow, and His eyes like a flame of fire;
The
appearance of Jesus in the glory as the King of all kings has the
signs as follows.
- His
head and hair are white like wool, as white as snow.
- His
eyes are like a flame of fire.
We
are still discussing the second sign.
Psalm
11:4
11:4.
The
Lord is
in His holy temple,
The Lord's throne is
in heaven;
His eyes behold,
His eyelids test the sons of men.
Beholding
refers to sanctification and attention.
Thus,
Jesus as King of kings, with His eyes like a flame of fire, cares and
sanctifies the servant of God with the fire of the Word, Holy Spirit,
and love, so we can be as a flame of fire.
Hebrews
1:7
1:7
And
of the angels He says: "Who makes His angels spirits
And His
ministers a flame of fire."
The
servant of God as a flame of fire is the one who is holy, faithful,
and fervent in spirit in ministering Him. Being faithful and fervent
in spirit means cannot be blocked by anything.
Daniel
7:9
7:9.
"I
watched till thrones were put in place,
And the Ancient of Days was
seated; His garment was
white as snow,
And the hair of His head was
like pure wool.
His throne was
a fiery flame,
Its wheels a burning fire;
The
throne of God is a fiery flame.
Thus,
the servant of God who is holy, faithful, and fervent in spirit
equals to the throne of God.
Isaiah
6:1
6:1.
In
the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne,
high and lifted up, and the train of His robe
filled the temple.
There
are two types of the throne as follows.
- The
throne of man (King Uzziah).
The throne of man is arrogance,
stubbornness, and haughtiness. The heart becomes as the king, so man
only follows the desire of the heart and the flesh, the emotion and
ambition of the flesh. The consequence is living in darkness and
rage.
The practices are as follows.
- Wrong
consecration and ministry to God.
2
Tawarikh 26:16-18 26:16.
But
when he was strong his heart was lifted up, to his
destruction, for he transgressed against the Lord his God by
entering the temple of the Lord to burn incense on the altar of
incense. 26:17
So
Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him were eighty
priests of the Lord--valiant men. 26:18
And
they withstood King Uzziah, and said to him, "It
is
not for you, Uzziah, to burn incense to the Lord, but for the
priests, the sons of Aaron, who are consecrated to burn incense.
Get out of the sanctuary, for you have trespassed! You shall
have
no honor from the Lord God."
It
means ministering not according to the ministry, or ministering not
according to the true teaching Word. The consequences are as
follows.
- Destroying
and scattering the body of Christ.
- God
will be firm and straightforward to eject the servant of God who
ministers not according to the Word. Being ejected from the world
means going to the hell.
Matthew
7:21-23 7:21.
"Not
everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' shall enter the kingdom
of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 7:22
Many
will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied
in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders
in Your name?' 7:23
And
then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me,
you who practice lawlessness!'
We
are grateful because through the true teaching Word, God is firm
and straighforward to admonish our life, so we will not be ejected.
Our attitude is we must be firm and sincere to keep the true
consecration, so we will not be ejected but return to the
Paradise.
- Rejecting
the true teaching Word that is firmly and straightforwardly points
our sins.
2
Chronicles 26:19,23 26:19
Then
Uzziah became furious; and he had
a censer in his hand to burn incense. And while he was angry with
the priests, leprosy broke out on his forehead, before the priests
in the house of the Lord, beside the incense altar. 26:23
So
Uzziah rested with his fathers, and they buried him with his
fathers in the field of burial which belonged
to the kings, for they said, "He is a leper." Then Jotham his
son reigned in his place.
The
true teaching Word straightforwardly points our faults within
marriage, ministry, shepherding, and fellowship, so we can confess
our sins, repent, and return to the righteousness of the Word.
If
one rejects the Word, the consequence is he will suffer from
leprosy. The spiritual meaning of leprosy is self-truth, that is
covering sins by blaming the others and God. Leprosy also
refers to unclean sins. It can be through fashion or cloth that
displays the flesh. It also includes sins concerning
eating-drinking (smoking, getting drunk, consuming drugs) and
marrying-being given in marriage (sexuality sin with all its
variety).
At the end, King Uzziah was not honored. His life
was shamed and could not be glorified with Jesus. He could not be
perfect and welcome His second coming.
If
the throne of man is kept, there will be no throne of God. There
will be only the throne of Satan. But if the throne of man is
destroyed, the throne of God will be real in our life.
Isaiah
57:15 57:15
For
thus says the High and Lofty One
Who inhabits eternity, whose name
is
Holy:
"I dwell in the high and holy place,
With
him who
has a contrite and humble spirit,
To revive the spirit of the
humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Destroying
the throne of man means we have a contrite heart. We realize and
regret our sin, either individual sin or sin within marriage. We
confess it to God (vertical) and the others (horizontal). If we are
forgiven, we must not repeat it anymore. If we have a contrite
heart, we will feel the throne of God in our life.
- The
throne of God.
Isaiah
6:1 6:1.
In
the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne,
high and lifted up, and the train of His robe
filled the temple.
The
throne of God presents the train of His robe that fills the temple.
Mark
5:25-29 5:25
Now
a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, 5:26
and
had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all
that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. 5:27
When
she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him
in the crowd and touched His garment. 5:28
For
she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well."
5:29
Immediately
the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her
body that she was healed of the affliction.
This
woman represents the church of God. The condition of the church of
God in the last days is being outside the throne of God, as this
woman who had a flow of blood for twelve years. It means as
follows.
- Being
rotten and smelly, meaning being bound by sins up to the peak of
sins, that is sins concerning eating-drinking and marrying-being
given in marriage. If one has been mastered by sins, he will join
the building of Babylon.
- Separation
or scattering in the body of Christ, starting from within marriage,
shepherding, and between shepherding.
- Being
within suffering, sadness, weeping, fear, depression, weariness,
heavy burden, and impossibility. All things are getting worse.
These are the signs of being outside the throne of God.
Many
efforts are done by the church of God to tackle this condition, but
unfortunately they are physical efforts that use knowledge,
smartness, and by experts. As a consequence, the condition only gets
worse. No matter how great a man is, his condition will only get
worse and go to perdition if he is outside the throne of God. If it
happens in our life, do not be desperate and disappointed, because
there is still chance to touch the train of His robe.
The
definitions of the train of God's robe are as follows.
- The
Word that is written the name of the King or the Bridegroom. It
refers to the Bride Tidings.
Revelation
19:13,16,6,7 19:13
He
was
clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The
Word of God. 19:16
And
He has on His
robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF
LORDS. 19:6 And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great
multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty
thunderings, saying, "Alleluia! For the
Lord
God Omnipotent reigns! 19:7
Let
us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the
Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready."
2
Corinthians 4:3-4 4:3
But
even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are
perishing, 4:4
whose
minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the
light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of
God, should shine on them.
It
is the Word that preaches Jesus' second coming in the glory as
the King of kings and the Heavenly bridegroom. The Bride Tidings
sanctifies and renews our life until we are perfect and blameless
to welcome His second coming.
Do not reject the Bride
Tidings. If one rejects it (the train of God's robe), he will be
rotten and destroyed. Let us humble our life to receive the
Bride Tidings with a need, until we can hold fast and obey it.
Thus, we will experience miracle and be sanctified from sins up to
the peaks of sins, so we can be fragrant.
- The
ministry and gifts of Holy Spirit.
John
19:23-24 19:23
Then
the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took His garments and
made four parts, to each soldier a part, and also the tunic. Now
the tunic was without seam, woven from the top in one piece. 19:24
They
said therefore among themselves, "Let us not tear it, but cast
lots for it, whose it shall be," that the Scripture might be
fulfilled which says:
"They
divided My garments among them,
And for My clothing they cast
lots."
Ephesians
4:11-12 4:11
And
He Himself gave some to
be
apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and
teachers, 4:12
for
the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ,
The
tunic of Jesus is drawn. It means not everyone will get it. Only
the holy one will be equipped with the ministry and gifts of Holy
Spirit, to be used in the ministry of building of the perfect body
of Christ. Why does God give the ministry and gifts of Holy
Spirit?
- So
we will not be naked and shamed, but our life is neat and
beautiful before God. It is also to make us as one perfect body of
Christ (the tunic is without seam, woven from the top in one
piece).
- So
we will not join the building of Babylon or the bride of Satan who
will be destroyed.
Our
attitude is we must really struggle to keep being faithful and
fervent in spirit in ministering God, whatever the obstacles and
the risks are. If one looses the tunic, his life will get worse
until being destroyed.
- Bells
of gold, meaning worship in the anointing of Holy Spirit, or
worship with a contrite heart.
Exodus
28:33 28:33
And
upon its hem you shall make pomegranates of blue, purple, and
scarlet, all around its hem, and bells of gold between them all
around:
We fall down before Jesus' feet and confess that we are
only as a clay, unworthy and powerless. We do not hope in anyone,
but we only fully hope in the mercy of the King. Thus, He will
stretch out His merciful and graceful hands, so miracles will
happen.
- Healing
power from physical illness (sickness, problems in financial,
marriage, study). Even there will be miracle to make possible the
impossibility. Lazarus who had died for four days could be raised
because Mary fell down before God's feet.
- Protection
power as well as physical and spiritual care up to the days when
antichrist will reign in the world.
- Power
to make our life beautiful and successful in His time. We are
renewed until being as glorious as Him on His second coming.
No
matter how great a man is, if he is outside the throne of God, his
life will get worse and go to perdition. But no matter how bad is
our condition now, if we want to touch the train of His robe, He is
able to recover our life.
God
blesses us.
