Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 22:6-17 is about the seven warnings or rebukes and exhortations to the church of God on the last days, so we can become as perfect as Jesus.

We still learn the first one.

Revelation 22:7
22:7. "Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

Why does God warn about the happiness?

  1. There is no happiness in the world, but just the curse.

  2. Satan makes the apparent happiness by committing sin or the church creates the apparent happiness that is not associated with the Word.

That is why, God offers the heavenly bliss that is associated with the Word.

Approaching the second coming of Jesus, the church of God must already obey the Word, so it is ingrained in our life.
It means as follows:

  1. We live in holiness as well as love one another.
    1 Peter 1:22
1:22. Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart,

    Ephesians 4:11-12
4:11. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers,
4:12. for the equipping of the
saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ,

We are equipped with the ministry and Holy Spirit's gift--having the tunic of many colors--to be used in the revival of Holy Spirit in the last rain, namely the building of the body of Christ. It starts from marriage, shepherding, inter-shepherding until the Israelites and Gentiles become one perfect body of Christ. The more we are used, the more beautiful our life is.

  2. We are born again. It means being renewed until we become as glorious as Jesus.

    1 Peter 1:23
1:23. having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

What must be renewed before the second coming of Jesus?
    Matthew 24:32
24:32. "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.

    • Being linked with the fig tree in the Garden Eden, it refers to the renewal in the marriage or household.

The fig tree in the Garden Eden was leafy to cover the nakedness of the marriage of Adam and Eve.

      Isaiah 64:6
64:6. But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away.

The leaves of the fig tree refer to the self-truth. The facts of the marriage which uses the self-truth are as follows:

      1. The wife becomes the head over her husband.
        Genesis 3:6-7
3:6. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
3:7. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and
they sewed fig leavestogether and made themselves coverings.

The wife made decision in the marriage. The wife taught and had authority over a man.

Consequently, the serpent became the head in the marriage, so it became dark, naked, and ashamed. It had the atmosphere of curse.

      2. Covering sin by blaming at others and God or the Word.
        Genesis 3:11-13, 17-19
3:11. And He said, "Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?"
        3:12.
Then the man said, "The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate."
3:13. And the LORD God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?"
The woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."
3:17. Then to Adam He said, "Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat of it': "
Cursed is the ground for your sake; In toil you shall eat of it All the days of your life.
        3:18.
Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, And you shall eat the herb of the field.
3:19. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread Till you return to the ground, For out of it you were taken; For dust you are, And to dust you shall return."

It continues until one blames at Satan, so he cannot repent anymore.

Consequently, he lives in curse or the atmosphere of thorns, namely fear and anxiety. He never experiences serenity and the renewal of life, so he returns from dust to dust. He just sins up to perdition.

If all of us become gentle, the renewal will happen. We return to the truth in the Bible as well as obey God.

    • Being linked with the ordination.
      Matthew 21:18-19
21:18. Now in the morning, as He returned to the city, He was hungry.
      21:19. And seeing
a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again." Immediately the fig tree withered away.

A fig tree by the road has nothing on it but leaves. It refers to one who is not shepherded, so his life is not changed. He is spiritually withered and dead. He does not satisfy God. He never experiences satisfaction, so he looks for the apparent satisfaction in the world up to falling into sin. Or, the apparent satisfaction is brought into to the church, so the church becomes the same as the world.

      Jeremiah 48:10
48:10. Cursed is he who does the work of the LORD deceitfully, And cursed is he who keeps back his sword from blood.

Doing the work of the Lord deceitfully means being unfaithful and leaving the ministry.

      Luke 19:20-23
19:20. "Then another came, saying, 'Master, here is your mina, which I have kept put away in a handkerchief.
19:21. 'For I feared you, because you are an austere man. You collect what you did not deposit, and reap what you did not sow.'
19:22. "And he said to him, 'Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant. You knew that I was an austere man, collecting what I did not deposit and reaping what I did not sow.
19:23. 'Why then did you not put my money in the bank, that at my coming I might have collected it with interest?'

If one is lazy, he will surely be wicked. The fact is judging others, so he becomes the unprofitable servant.
Consequently, he is cast into the outer darkness up to perdition forever.

If we persevere in the shepherding as well as become obedient, faithful, and good, we will surely be changed. We also experience the heavenly bliss.

      Matthew 25:21
25:21. "His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

    • The renewal of the characteristic.
      Galatians 5:19-21
5:19. Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
5:20. idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
5:21. envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

We experience the purification from the flesh's attitudes and deeds. We are changed, so we return to the first creation. We have the characteristic of the Trinity of God, namely the nine fruits of the Spirit.

      Galatians 5:22-23
5:22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
5:23. gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The fact is honesty and obedience.

      Ecclesiastes 7:29
7:29. Truly, this only I have found: That God made man upright, But they have sought out many schemes."

The recovery of our life happens.

      John 21:3,7
21:3. Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
21:7. Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his outer garment (for he had removed it), and plunged into the sea.

The man or husband does not obey God, so he is failed and naked.

      John 21:5-6
21:5. Then Jesus said to them, "Children, have you any food?" They answered Him, "No."
21:6. And He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some."
So they cast, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish.

Honesty and obedience are the same as stretching out the hand to God or totally surrendering to Him. So, God stretches out His merciful hand to take care of us who are powerless in the midst of the big difficulties of the world. God gives us the robe of service, so we are not naked, and our marriage becomes beautiful.

      Matthew 15:25-28
15:25. Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, help me!"
15:26. But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the little dogs."
      15:27. And
she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters' table."
15:28. Then Jesus answered and said to her, "O woman, great is your faith! Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that very hour.

A woman stumbled in word, so she faced the destruction in marriage. If we are honest and obedient, God's hand is able to restore the marriage to become true, holy, one, and happy up to perfection. All of physical and spiritual diseases are healed. We experience peace, so all things become easy and light.

      John 11:39
11:39. Jesus said, "Take away the stone." Martha, the sister of him who was dead, said to Him, "Lord, by this time there is a stench, for he has been dead four days."

The youth fails like Lazarus who has died for four days. The youth does not want to confess the decay. If we are honest and obedient, God's hand will be stretched out to raise us like Lazarus. The decay is changed into fragrance. The uncleanness is changed into holiness. Failure becomes success and beauty.

God blesses us.
