Peace and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Revelation 21:8
21:8. "But the cowardly(1), unbelieving(2), abominable(3), murderers(4), sexually immoral(5), sorcerers(6), idolaters(7), and all liars(8)shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

The new atmosphere is the one of righteousness, holiness, and perfection.
The eight sins that bring people to the hell are as follows:

  1. Being cowardly and unbelieving are against the righteousness.
  2. Being abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, and idolaters are against the holiness.
  3. The liars are against the perfection.

We still learn about cowardly and unbelieving.
Being cowardly means that one is afraid of something in the world, so he doubts to God or the true teaching Word until he is against God.

The example and the consequence are as follows:
Matthew 14:29-31
14:29. So He said, "Come." And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.
14:30. But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was
afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, "Lord, save me!"
14:31. And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, "O you of little faith, why did you
doubt?"

Peter was a great servant of God, but he was afraid and doubtful when he faced the winds and the waves in the ocean of the world. It means being afraid and doubtful in facing the false teachings, the sins up to the peak, and the impossible problems, so one begins to sink. He experiences decadence physically and spiritually up to drowning in the lake of fire and brimstone or the hell forever.

Being cowardly and unbelieving is caused by a weak conscience, so he has the other weaknesses.

Romans 8:26
8:26. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

The way out is that Holy Spirit is able to give the extra power to us, so we can face the weaknesses as follows:

  1. Easily stumbling because of the small physical thing, so one leaves the spiritual thing, namely the true teaching Word and ordination.
    1 Corinthians 8:7-9
8:7. However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.
8:8. But food does not commend us to God; for neither if we eat are we the better, nor if we do not eat are we the worse.
8:9. But beware lest somehow this liberty of yours become
a stumbling block to those who are weak.

Being afraid of something until having no fear of God but being against Him and committing sin.

Holy Spirit gives the extra power, so we become strong and of good courage. It means that we do not stumble because of the physical thing, so we keep following and ministering to God until the finish line.
We have the fear of God. We hate sins up to perverse mouth, so we live in righteousness and holiness.

    Psalm 27:14
27:14. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!

We can wait Jesus' second coming.

  2. The weakness in facing the temptation or impossible problem.
    Romans 5:5
5:5. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

The fact is getting disappointed and desperate as well as leaving God

Holy Spirit gives the extra power, so we become strong and of good courage.

    James 5:10-11
5:10. My brethren, take the prophets, who spoke in the name of the Lord, as an example of suffering and patience.
5:11. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the
perseveranceof Job and seen the end intended by the Lord--that the Lord is very compassionate and merciful.

It means that we do not get disappointed and desperate as well as leave God in the total test, but we keep having perseverance and patience like Job. We persevere in the sheepfold. We are patient in suffering by giving thanks and surrendering to God, not grumbling or blaming others, but waiting the time of God by not looking for other way which is outside the word, because it is the same as the deadlock and destruction.

As a result, God's mercy is able to help and restore us doubly, namely physically and spiritually up to eternal life.

  3. The peak of weakness is that we do not know what we should pray for as we ought.
    Romans 8:26-28
8:26. Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
8:27. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
8:28. And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Consequently, we experience the spiritual dryness and death. We just commit sins up to the peak, so we are destroyed.

Holy Spirit is able to give the extra power, so we become strong and of good courage. It means that we can worship God with a broken heart until we can speak with other tongue. We can surrender our physical and spiritual weaknesses. We feel that we are incapable, powerless, and worthless.

As a result, God will stretch out His merciful hand to us.

    Mark 6:34,41
6:34. And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things.
6:41. And when He had taken the five loaves and the two fish, He looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to His disciples to set before them; and the two fish He divided among them all.

As a result, God's merciful hand is able to take care of our physical life in the midst of the difficulties of the world. Spiritually, God gives the teaching Word, so we experience the heavenly satisfaction and we do not look for the worldly one. We always give thanks and become God's witness.

    Mark 1:40-42
1:40. Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean."
    1:41. Then Jesus,
moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed."
1:42. As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.

God's merciful hand is able to heal the physical disease.

The spiritual meaning of leper is the uncleanness. It is the sin that attaches to sight, word, deed, et cetera. God is able to heal it.

God is able to finish all of impossible problems.

    Matthew 18:24-27
18:24. "And when he had begun to settle accounts, one was brought to him who owed him ten thousand talents.
18:25. "But as he was not able to pay, his master commanded that he be sold, with his wife and children and all that he had, and that payment be made.
18:26. "The servant therefore fell down before him, saying, 'Master, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.'
18:27. "Then the master of that servant was moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

God's merciful hand is able to forgive the sin debt which cannot be paid. God changes us to become obedient, so we do not sin anymore.

The doors are opened for us, namely the ones of the future and the door of heaven. It continues until we are changed to become as perfect as Jesus is, so we can greet His second coming.

God blesses us.
