Bible Study Service in Malang, July 15, 2010 (Thursday Evening)
Matthew
25:8-13
25:8
"And the foolish said to the wise, 'Give us some of your oil,
for our lamps are going out.'
25:9 "But the wise
answered, saying, 'No, lest there should not be enough for us and
you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'
25:10 "And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and
those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door
was shut.
25:11 "Afterward the other virgins came also,
saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!'
25:12 "But he
answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.'
25:13 "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor
the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
There
will be a separation between wise virgins and foolish virgins.
The
wise virgins are the description of the Church of the Lord that
always watches to be ready and to keep the lamps to burn continually
to get entry into the marriage supper of the Lamb. On the contrary,
the foolish virgins do not watch, so the lamps are quenched and they
are left when Jesus comes a second time. They get entry into the
great feast of slaughter forever in hell.
Tonight we will
discuss about the DOOR.
The
wise virgins are inside the door of heavenly kingdom but the foolish
ones are outside.
The
wise virgins and the foolish ones are separated only by a door.
The
door refers to the
door of our heart.
The
wise virgins have good and meek hearts and they are inside the door
of heavenly kingdom.
On the other hand, the foolish ones have
hard, wicked, and unclean hearts and they are outside the door of
heavenly kingdom.
There
are three kinds of the door of Tabernacle/heavenly kingdom as
follows:
- The Gate. (https://www.gptkk.org/tabernacle_the+gate.html)
The spiritual meaning is belief or faith to Jesus that we can be saved.
Jesus is the only one door of salvation to get entry into heavenly
kingdom.
Romans 10:17
10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of
God.
Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, not from our sight.
The Word of God is the Word preached in the anointing of Holy Spirit,
which has a spiritual value.
Getting entry through the Gate means believing or having
faith in Jesus through hearing the Word of God in the anointing of Holy
Spirit.
The process of having faith from hearing the Word of God is
below:
- Hearing the Word seriously,
- Understanding the Word,
- Believing in the Word, the Word becomes faith in our heart.
- Believing in the Word means believing in Jesus and we have
the anointing of Holy Spirit.
The practice of being anointed by Holy Spirit is below:
The wise virgins are inside the gate of heavenly kingdom, meaning repenting
and having the renewal of life, living in righteousness and not
sinning.
Proverbs 10:2-3
10:2. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness
delivers from death.
10:3 The LORD will not allow the righteous soul to famish,
But He casts away the desire of the wicked.
The result of living in righteousness is the Lord will save and
preserve our life.
The foolish virgins are outside the gate of heavenly kingdom, meaning
departing from faith to Jesus.
Hebrews 3:12-13
3:12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart
of unbelief in departing from the living God;
3:13 but exhort one another daily, while it is called "Today," lest any
of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
The foolish virgins keep their sins, do the sins still.
Consequently, they perish forever.
Revelation 21:8
21:8 "But the (1)cowardly, (2)unbelieving, (3)abominable,
(4)murderers, (5)sexually immoral, (6)sorcerers, (7)idolaters, and
(8)all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire
and brimstone, which is the second death."
The sins often kept are especially those eight sins, including lies.
- The Door of Tabernacle. (https://www.gptkk.org/tabernacle_door+of+tabernacle.html)
It is spiritually meant the infilling of Holy Spirit.
Entering the Door of Tabernacle means we are filled with
Holy Spirit until our flesh does not sound anymore.
The flesh with all its lusts will dominate if there is not Holy Spirit.
We find the Holy Place inside the Door of Tabernacle, meaning we enter
into sheepfold and become shepherded.
Being shepherded means we have perseverance in committing three
main services to the Lord as follows:
Where do we have to be shepherded?
We must be shepherded to the true teaching Word as a branch
attaining to the True Vine.
We are sanctified continually by the fire of the true teaching
Word, the fire of Holy Spirit, and the fire of God's love in
shepherding as Moses has experienced in his shepherding the flock.
Exodus 3:1-3,5
3:1. Now Moses was tending the flock of
Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to
the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.
3:2 And the Angel of the LORD appeared to him in a flame of fire from
the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning
with fire, but the bush was not consumed.
3:3 Then Moses said, "I will now turn aside and see this great sight,
why the bush does not burn."
3:5 Then He said, "Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off
your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground."
The term 'was tending' [Exodus 3:1] refers to perseverance.
The sanctification we have in the shepherding will result in sanctification
that makes us take off our sandals, meaning the sanctification for our
inner and outer life so we can be a newborn baby.
The meaning of the sanctification that makes us take off our
sandals is below:
- The sanctification of our heart until we have meek heart.
Mark 7:21-23
7:21 "For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil
thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,
7:22 "thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye,
blasphemy, pride, foolishness.
7:23 "All these evil things come from within and defile a man."
- Our daily deeds are sanctified until there is not a
malice, deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and evil speaking.
1 Peter 2:1-2
2:1. Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit,
hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2:2 as newborn babes, desire the
pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby,
- Our mouth is sanctified.
It is sanctified from inside, that we only desires the pure
and spiritual milk, meaning the true teaching Word in anointing of Holy
Spirit.
Besides, it must be also sanctified from outside, that we
say righteous and holy words only to praise and worship God.
Matthew 21:15-16
21:15 But when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things
that He did, and the children crying out in the temple and saying,
"Hosanna to the Son of David!" they were indignant
21:16 and said to Him, "Do You hear what these are saying?" And Jesus
said to them, "Yes. Have you never read, 'Out of the mouth of babes and
nursing infants You have perfected praise'?"
If we put something right into our mouth, what goes out
from it will be right also.
James 3:2
3:2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in
word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
The wise virgins are inside the Door of Tabernacle, meaning being
patient in shepherding and sanctified.
As a result, the life is pleaded and employed by God in the revival of
Holy Spirit at the last rain as Moses has experienced.
Numbers 12:1,3,10
12:1. Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the
Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian
woman.
12:3 (Now the man Moses was very humble, more
than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
12:10 And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly
Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward
Miriam, and there she was, a leper.
Jude 1:9
1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, in contending with the devil,
when he disputed about the body of Moses, dared not bring against him a
reviling accusation, but said, "The Lord rebuke you!"
On the contrary, the foolish virgins are outside the Door of
Tabernacle, meaning they are not willing to be shepherded and
sanctified. Consequently, the lusts get bigger up to Babylon.
Revelation 17:5
17:5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON
THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
- The veil. (https://www.gptkk.org/tabernacle_the+veil.html)
It is the tearing of the flesh.
Entering the Veil means we have the tearing of the flesh
until our flesh does not sound anymore.
There are five characteristics of flesh we must tear as
follows:
- Hypocrisy.
Luke 12:1
12:1. In the meantime, when an innumerable multitude of people had
gathered together, so that they trampled one another, He began to say
to His disciples first of all, "Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees,
which is hypocrisy.
- Fear to man until there is no fear to the Lord.
Luke 12:5
12:5 "But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He
has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear
Him!
- Stinginess (a disability to give) and greediness (taking over
the rights of other people).
Luke 12:15
12:15 And He said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness,
for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he
possesses."
- Anxiety, doubt.
- Not being watchful.
If we have torn the five characters of flesh, we will have the love of
God and the overflowing of Holy Spirit in our lives. We have the oil
for supply so our lamp burns continually.
Romans 5:5
5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of
God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who
was given to us.
The function of God's love is below:
- To make us strong and of good courage, not disappointed nor
desperate, not deny the Lord whatever we are facing.
- To make us obedient until our flesh does not sound anymore.
John 14:15
14:15. "If you love Me, keep My commandments.
This is equal to the Church in Philadelphia whose strength is little as
newborn babies but they can get the key of David or the grace and
goodness of God because of their obedience.
Revelation 3:7-8
3:7. "And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write,
'These things says He who is holy, He who is true, "He who has the key
of David, He who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens":
3:8 "I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no
one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept
My word, and have not denied My name.
The result is real as follows:
- The hand of God's mercy and goodness opens the door
of victory over our enemies.
Revelation 3:9
3:9 "Indeed I will make those of the synagogue of Satan,
who say they are Jews and are not, but lie--indeed I will make them
come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
It is the spiritual victory over sins and false teachings and the
physical victory over all problems and temptations.
- The hands of God's mercy and goodness protect and
preserve us from now in the difficult desert of the world until we
have beautiful future although antichrist reigns over the world.
Revelation 3:10
3:10 "Because you have kept My command to persevere, I
also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the
whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
- The door of heavenly kingdom is open, we become the
pillar in New Jerusalem and we will never go out anymore.
Revelation 3:12
3:12 "He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My
God, and he shall go out no more. And I will write on him the name of
My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which
comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new
name.
Tonight, being the pillar means trusting and
entrusting ourselves in God.
God
blesses you.
