Peace and grace in the name of Jesus Christ.
On December 11, 2013, I had an accidentwhen I rid my motorcycle. On the way, there was a car that made a U-turn. The driver did not see me when he did that, and I crashed to the car. However, I still got God's mercy.
I had some wounds on my left arm, and then I called our pastor. At that time, he was on his way home from his ministry in Surabaya. He visited me directly to the hospital, prayed for me, and waited until the treatment was finished. After the treatment, the son of the owner of the car brought me home.I thought that everything was good, but apparently not. The next day, I went to the church for the Bible Study Service at 5.15 p.m., and I prayed to God so that He gave me power and health. The following day, I could barely breathe, and I was taken to the ICU. I had a severe pneumoniaand the infection had spread to the entire lung. My wife called the pastor and he prayed for me through the phone because he had to go to Sitiarjo for a Christmas fellowship. He was surprised and asked, why I had to be hospitalized.
After a day, I was not getting better. I was in the ICU and I used the ventilator. The doctor asked my wife, 'Are you ready to pay the expense? It would be very expensive.' I was not getting better, but worse. However, God still gave us His mercy: my wife, my children, and I were even more faithful in the shepherdingand we really surrendered all to God. From being faithful in the shepherdingand the power of the intercession prayer of a pastor, I could pass my first critical moment. After about 10 days, I did not understand, but I kept believing that the intercession prayer of a pastor is really miraculous. One day the ventilator was unplugged from my mouthand my soul had already left my body, but it came backbecause I felt that God protected me, so that I got my body, soul, and spirit back.
We had to pay the expense of the treatment which increased day by day. Praise the Lord, I remembered the message from the pastor that said, 'Do not forget that our body, soul, and spirit belong to God, He will solve everything. It was impossible for us, but my wife was always faithful, strong and of good courage. Finally, God provided everything that we needed in a miraculous way, through the help of the pastor, the church in Malang and Surabaya, and our relatives.
I give thanks to God that until this day my whole family is still in the shepherding, we are always faithful in the three kinds of service. Praise the Lord.
