General Service in Malang, December 04, 2016 (Sunday Morning)
Peace
and grace in the love of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Revelation
4:8-11
4:8
The
four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes
around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying:
"Holy,
holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
Who
was and is and is to come!"
4:9
Whenever
the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits
on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
4:10
the
twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and
worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before
the throne, saying:
4:11
"You
are worthy, O Lord,
To
receive glory and honor and power;
For
You created all things,
And
by Your will they exist and were created."
The
four living creatures refer to four men who have been lifted up to
the Heaven, that is Enoch, Moses, Elijah, and Lord Jesus. The
requirements are as follows.
- Having
six wings or three sets of wings, meaning experiencing the covering
of the wings of a hen, a dove, and an eagle.
- Being
full of eyes around and within.
ad.
2. Being full of eyes around and within.
Exodus
28:39
28:39
"You
shall skillfully weave the tunic of fine linen thread,
you shall make the turban of fine linen, and you shall make the sash
of woven work.
It
equals to the skillfully woven tunic of fine linen thread.
The
tunic is white. It refers to holiness.
The
tunic was skillfully woven, so it had many holes or eyes that refer
to the anointing of Holy Spirit.
Thus,
the skillfully woven tunic of fine linen thread refers to the garment
of holiness in the anointing of Holy Spirit, or the garment of glory
or the garment of the bride.
The
white tunic was used by Aaron the high priest when he entered the
Most Holy Place.
The
white tunic was also used by Jesus when He went up to the high
mountain, as well as when He was lifted up to the Heaven.
Sometime,
the white tunic must be used by the church of God when they are
lifted up on the glorious clouds, up to the throne of Heaven.
The
process to get the skillfully woven tunic of fine linen thread is as
follows.
- The
servants of God must always dwell in the Holy Place.
Leviticus
21:12 21:12
nor
shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his
God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is
upon him: I am
the Lord.
There
are three types of equipment within the Holy Place. They refer to
perseverance in three main services as follows.
- Golden
Candlestick refers to perseverance in General Service. We have
fellowship with Holy Spirit God in His gifts. We drink so we are
always fresh spiritually.
- Table
of Showbread refers to perseverance in Bible Study Service with
Holy Communion. We have fellowship with the Son of God in the true
teaching Word and the sacrifice of Christ. We eat so we are always
strong in following and ministering God until He comes a second
time.
- Golden
Altar of Incense refers to perseverance in Prayer Service. We have
fellowship with Father God in His love. Prayer is the breath of
life. We feel God's love so our ministry will be eternal.
Through
perseverance in three main services, our body, spirit, and soul
cling to God the Trinity so we always live in holiness and
experience the anointing of Holy Spirit.
- The
tunic of ministry must be washed in the blood of the Lamb.
Revelation
7:13-14 7:13
Then
one of the elders answered, saying to me, "Who are these arrayed
in white robes, and where did they come from?" 7:14
And
I said to him, "Sir, you know."
So
he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great
tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood
of the Lamb.
It
equals to experiencing the sprinkling of blood in the Most Holy
Place. We experience flesh suffering together with Jesus.
Genesis
37:3,31 37:3
Now
Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was
the son of his old age. Also he made him a tunic of many
colors. 37:31 So they took Joseph's tunic, killed a kid of the
goats, and dipped the tunic in the blood.
Joseph
represents the church in the last days or all of us, since he was
born on the old days of Jacob. We must have the tunic of ministry
or the beautiful one. Before having it, our life is not beautiful
yet.
The beautiful tunic must be washed in the blood,
meaning we must experience suffering together with Jesus in the
ministry. We can keep persevering and enduring when facing the
cross. Perseverance and endurance depend on the heart. If we have a
good heart, we will persevere and endure until the end line.
1
Peter 3:20-21 3:20
who
formerly were disobedient, when once the Divine longsuffering waited
in the days of Noah, while the
ark was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight souls, were
saved through water. 3:21
There
is also an antitype which now saves us--baptism (not the removal of
the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward
God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
Water
baptism equals to the ark of Noah. Thus, there is only one true
water baptism that saves people. The true baptism is as follows.
- It
is according to the Bible or the will of God.
- We
must be baptized as Jesus was.
Romans
6:2,4 6:2
Certainly
not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? 6:4
Therefore
we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as
Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so
we also should walk in newness of life.
Colossians
2:11-12 2:11
In
Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without
hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the
circumcision of Christ, 2:12
buried
with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him
through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.
Matthew
3:16 3:16
When
He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and
behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God
descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
The
practice of the true water baptism is one who has died to sins
(repented) must be buried in water together with Jesus, to be raised
with Him and receive new or Heavenly life that has an obedient
heart.
The
skillfully woven tunic of fine linen thread refers to holiness in the
anointing of Holy Spirit.
What
things that must be sanctified?
- The
stain in the garment of ministry, that is the one of wickedness and
laziness.
Matthew
25:26 25:26
"But
his lord answered and said to him, 'You wicked and lazy servant,
you knew that I reap where I have not sown, and gather where I have
not scattered seed.
- The
stain of laziness is being unfaithful in ministering God. If one is
lazy, he will be wicked and unclean.
Proverbs
18:9 18:9
He
who is slothful in his work
Is
a brother to him who is a great destroyer.
- The
stain of wickedness is the one of Cain, Korah, and Balaam.
Jude
1:11-12 1:11
Woe
to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain, have run greedily
in the error of Balaam for profit, and perished in the rebellion of
Korah. 1:12
These
are spots in your love feasts, while they feast with you without
fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without water,
carried about by the winds; late autumn trees without fruit, twice
dead, pulled up by the roots;
The
stain of Cain is killing Abel because the ministry of Abel is
accepted by God while his ministry is not. It refers to hatred
without any reasons. The stain of Korah [Numbers 16:8-10] is
disobedience to God and the true teaching Word, as well as to
pastor and physical parents. The consequence is going down.
2
Peter 2:15 2:15
They
have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of
Balaam the son
of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
The
stain of Balaam is ministering God with aiming only for physical
matters. Everything is counted with money, so he will not receive a
denarius. A denarius is the grace of God to pass the days of
antichrist, so we can reach eternal life in Heaven.
But
there is also the stain of uncleaness, that is the one of Hophni
and Phinehas. 1
Samuel 2:22 2:22
Now
Eli was very old; and he heard everything his sons did to all
Israel, and how they lay with the women who assembled at the door
of the tabernacle of meeting.
The
stain of uncleaness leads to sins concerning eating-drinking and
marrying-being given in marriage.
Matthew
25:30 25:30
And
cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.'
If
one serves God with the stains of laziness, wickedness, and
uncleaness, he will become the unprofitable servant who will be cast
into the outer darkness.
Matthew
25:21 25:21
His
lord said to him, 'Well done,
good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I
will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your
lord.'
We
must experience sanctification by washing the tunic in the blood.
The stains of laziness, wickedness, and uncleaness are sanctified so
we become the servant of God who is good and faithful, as well as
good and fervent in spirit. It equals to wearing the skillfully
woven tunic of fine linen thread. The results are as follows.
- We
experience the Heavenly joy so our countenance will shine.
- We
are used in the building of the perfect body of Christ.
- The
sanctification of the characters.
- Envy.
Matthew
20:11,15 20:11
And
when they had received it,
they complained against the landowner, 20:15
Is
it not lawful for me to do what I wish with my own things? Or is
your eye evil because I am good?'
Envy
happens because one does not appreciate the blessing and usage from
God. It also happens when one does not value God's mercy, so he
grumbles, provokes, slanders, even blasphemes God.
Envy
must be sanctified so we can do good and right deeds. We can
testify about God and worship Him. It equals to wearing the
skillfully woven tunic of fine linen thread.
- Worry
about daily life and future.
Matthew
6:25-26,31-34 6:25
"Therefore
I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or
what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is
not life more than food and the body more than clothing? 6:26
Look
at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather
into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of
more value than they? 6:31
"Therefore
do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we
drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 6:32
For
after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father
knows that you need all these things. 6:33
But
seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these
things shall be added to you. 6:34
Therefore
do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own
things. Sufficient for the day is
its own trouble.
The
consequences are as follows.
- Being
unable to prioritize the ministry to God, and being unfaithful in
ministering Him.
- Being
unable to live in righteousness.
Proverbs
12:25 12:25
Anxiety
in the heart of man causes depression,
But
a good word makes it glad.
A
worried person is as a hunchback, meaning the outlook is only to
physical matters. The consequence is having many questions to the
true teaching Word, many unanswered questions about life, and many
tears that cannot be wiped. If it is continued, he will be marked
with the number 666 by antichrist.
Worry must be sanctified
so we can seek first the Kingdom of Heaven and its righteousness.
We can minister God with faithfulness and righteousness. The result
is everything will be added to us [Matthew 6:33]. We live from His
cross, so it will always be a surplus. We lack of nothing even we
live in abundance so we always give thank to God. We can live
wherever, whenever, under any situation, up to the eternal life.
Thus,
the skillfully woven tunic of fine linen thread means that we
minister God with holiness in the anointing of Holy Spirit. We serve
Him with faithfulness and goodness, faithfulness and fervency in
spirit, as well as faithfulness and righteousness. We testify about
God and worship Him. It equals to having the opened eyes to see Jesus
who sits on the right side of the throne of Father God. Thus, Jesus'
eyes will be opened for all of us. He cares and struggles for all of
us. The results are as follows.
- God's
eyes are on His servants who are powerless.
Matthew
14:13-14,16 14:13
When
Jesus heard it,
He departed from there by boat to a deserted place by Himself. But
when the multitudes heard it, they followed Him on foot from the
cities. 14:14
And
when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with
compassion for them, and healed their sick. 14:16
But
Jesus said to them, "They do not need to go away. You give them
something to eat."
The
merciful hands of God are able to care our life in the midst of
difficulties, up to the days of antichrist. The merciful hands
of God are able to help us when facing impossibilities.
- God's
eyes are on the unfaithful person and the one who has not served Him
yet.
Mark
10:20-21 10:20
And
he answered and said to Him, "Teacher, all these things I have
kept from my youth." 10:21
Then
Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, "One thing you
lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and
you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and
follow Me."
- God's
eyes are on His servants who fall in sins and face total failure.
Luke
22:60-62 22:60
But
Peter said, "Man, I do not know what you are saying!"
Immediately,
while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. 22:61
And
the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word
of the Lord, how He had said to him, "Before the rooster crows,
you will deny Me three times." 22:62
So
Peter went out and wept bitterly.
God
sees with His mercy, not with judgment. He sees through the crow of
the rooster, that is the repeated shepherding Word. The result is
renewal power. John
21:18-19 21:18
Most
assuredly, I say to you, when you were younger, you girded yourself
and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch
out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you
where you do not wish." 21:19
This
He spoke, signifying by what death he would glorify God. And when He
had spoken this, He said to him, "Follow Me."
We
can stretch out our hands to God and love Him more than everything.
We can be obedient until the flesh does not sound anymore. Thus, the
merciful hands of God will be stretched out to help and recover our
life. We are renewed little by little until we are perfect on His
second coming, and we will be lifted up to the throne of Heaven
forever.
God
blesses us.
