I want to testify the goodness and help of God to me. My mother often reminded me not to take a bath late in the evening so that I did not need to use warm water. However, I often did not obey her by giving reasons such as I wanted to take a rest first, I had a course, and I was tired and overslept. Consequently, she had to heat the water for me to take a bath.
On October 13, 2014, I brought a pan with full of hot water to the bathroom for taking a bath. I put it on the edge of the bath tub. One hand held the pan and another turned on the lamp. Unfortunately, I did not put the pan on the firm position, so the hot water was spilled to my feet. I had to stay in the hospital to get the treatment for six days. I always felt painful when my feet sores were cleansed. The joints of my feet could not be moved easily; even there was an infection on the sixth day. Consequently, my feet needed plastic surgery. It cost very expensive, approximately fifty millions rupiah or more, because my sores were in serious condition and the hospital did not serve with BPJS Insurance program.
On Monday evening, October 20, 2014, I was moved to another hospital that served with BPJS Insurance program. There were so many patients queuing for the surgery; even it was difficult to get a room. Nevertheless, I gave thanks to God. He used a member of our church, namely Mrs.Yunce Dongalemba as the chief of a division in that hospital to help me in booking the room and looking for the good doctor and nurse for me. Moreover, God helped me in arranging the membership of BPJS Insurance easily in thirty minutes only. I could use the insurance card immediately.
I can take some lessons from my experience. First, disobedience costs so expensive. Second, the name of Jesus is powerful to move the joints of my feet until they are normal. I thank God. I also thank Rev. Widjaja and his wife, the congregation, and youth for visiting, praying for, and helping physically and spiritually. I thank for the full-time servants of God especially Miss Johna as the computer operator for copying DVD of the recording of all services in the church when I had to be healed in the hospital. The shepherding Word strengthened me and I did not feel alone while I was isolated in the hospital. May God reply all of you for your kindness to me with double blessings. May
